DRNM Monthly Meetings
Join Deconstructing Racism New Mexico (DRNM) for planning our 2021 strategies around declaring racism a public health crisis in New Mexico -- this includes 1) statewide health impact assessment; 2) educational workshops on institutional racism, 3) decolonizing and anti-assimilation connected to declaration and bring in militarization and ecological impacts of racism and health; and 4) getting the governor and others to declare institutional racism a public health crisis! We are gathering online on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting is Tuesday, April 27 from 3:00-4:00pm at bit.ly/DRNMmonthly or https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89949884386. Individuals, organizations and others who want to be at the table and organize with DRNM around the priority of racism as a public health crisis are invited to join us. We need community to help co-create the plan and strategies to make this happen in New Mexico.
